Today (July 13, had to post it a day late) we ran 12.27 miles.  Unlike we normally do in the summer, we just ran anywhere and knew we'd go some distance between about 11 and 13, which is really nice.  I felt really good the whole time, and Jared surprisingly kept up when some of the other expected varsity members fell back.  He even talked to us towards the end about what he thought he could do these upcoming cross country and track seasons.  At the end i looked at my watch and we were going like 6:15 pace and i wasn't even sweating or breathing hard and that felt really cool.  I need to figure out how to feel like that every day, i think part of it is eating wekk and hydrating, and part of it is keeping a positive attitude during the run, and talking and joking around helps.
