These last few days i haven't updatedmy runningblog here very much because i was more concerned about the well being of my stomach which had ben hurting a lot.  On sunday i ran the johnnycake jog and my stomach hurt quite a bit during the race and i ran 28:38, not horrible but nowhere near what i'm capable of.  Then the next day i ran 16.11 miles (our first run that was actually 16 miles, even over).  The whole run my stomach hurt really bad, but towards the end, maybe the last 4-5 miles or so, it hurt to the point of me wanting to stop and walk but i would rather be injured than have to walk on a run.  Anyways i finished that run and my stomach was sort of hurting throughout the rest of the day, but it went through waves like it would hurt a little, then not at all, ect.  The day after that (yesterday) my stomach hurt so bad that i couldn't run with the group because of the pain.  I forced myself to run 1 mile while they were gone and i was waiting for them, which was pretty terrible.  At home the pain only worsened and i eventually had to go to the doctor's to see what was wrong. At first when i described what i was feeling everyone, including myself, believed my appendix had either burst or was swelling.  After a bunch of checks and an xray, the doctor said it was a very painful growth pain from when your body thinks its done growing, but then starts to grow again and stretches the muscles out very quickly, especially in the abdomen /stomach area.  Well this is wednesday morning and im about to leave for summer running, and my stomach is feeling much better and along with an advil i should be fine, tomorrow i probablywon't even needa painkiller.
